How do I create an account?

Download the Carswafi app from App Store or Google Play. Tap 'Sign Up', enter your email address, and verify with the OTP code sent to your email. Complete your profile with basic information.

Is Carswafi available in my area?

Carswafi is currently available in major cities across Kenya. Check the app to see available operators in your area. We're expanding rapidly to new locations.

Do I need to download an app?

Yes, Carswafi services are accessed through our mobile app available on iOS and Android. The app provides the best experience for booking and tracking services.

For Customers

How do I book a car wash or repair service?

Open the app, select the service you need (car wash or repair), choose your preferred operator, select a time slot, and confirm your booking. You'll receive instant confirmation.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Yes! Go to 'My Bookings', select the booking you want to change, and choose 'Cancel' or 'Reschedule'. Cancellation policies vary by operator and are shown at booking time.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept M-PESA, debit/credit cards, and in-app wallet payments. All transactions are secure and processed through our encrypted payment gateway.

How do I rate my service experience?

After service completion, you'll receive a prompt to rate your experience. Rate the operator on quality, punctuality, and professionalism. Your feedback helps maintain service quality.

What if I'm not satisfied with the service?

Contact us within 48 hours through the app or email info@carswafi.com. We'll review your case and work with the operator to resolve the issue fairly.

For Operators

How do I join as an operator?

Download the app, select 'Join as Operator', complete the verification process with your business documents, wait for approval (usually 2-3 business days), and start accepting bookings.

What documents do I need to register?

You'll need: Valid business registration certificate, operator's national ID/passport, business license, proof of address, and business insurance (if applicable).

How do payouts work?

Payouts are processed automatically within 72 hours of job completion. Funds are transferred directly to your registered M-PESA account or bank account.

What are the service fees?

Carswafi charges a small service fee to cover platform costs, payment processing, insurance, and support. Exact rates are provided during operator onboarding. No hidden fees.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes! You set your own service prices. We provide recommended pricing based on market rates, but you have full control over your pricing structure.

How do I handle customer complaints?

If a customer reports an issue, you'll be notified through the app. Respond professionally and work to resolve the matter. Our support team is available to mediate if needed.

Payments & Billing

When will my payment be processed?

Customer payments are processed immediately upon booking confirmation. Operator payouts are processed within 72 hours of service completion.

Are there any hidden fees?

No! All fees are clearly displayed before you confirm any booking or transaction. Customers see the total price upfront. Operators see the service fee before accepting jobs.

How do refunds work?

If a service is cancelled or you're eligible for a refund, it will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption and PCI-compliant payment processing. We never store your full card details on our servers.

Account & Security

How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password'. Enter your registered email address, and we'll send an OTP code to your email. Use the code to verify your identity and create a new password.

How do I update my profile information?

Go to Settings → Profile in the app. You can update your name, phone number, email, and other details. Some changes may require re-verification.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. We take privacy seriously. Your data is encrypted, securely stored, and never shared with third parties without your consent. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Note: This action is permanent and will delete all your data. Outstanding bookings must be completed first.

Technical Support

The app is not working properly. What should I do?

Try these steps: 1) Force close and restart the app, 2) Check your internet connection, 3) Update to the latest app version, 4) Clear app cache, 5) Restart your device. If issues persist, contact support.

I'm not receiving notifications.

Check your device settings to ensure notifications are enabled for Carswafi. Also verify your in-app notification preferences under Settings → Notifications.

The app keeps crashing.

Ensure you have the latest app version. If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall the app. Contact support if the issue persists with details about your device and OS version.
